Child Care

OVERVIEW

Irwin Partners Architects is best known for focusing on the elderly. However, we’ve discovered some strong parallels in our growing childcare architecture practice. For both populations, engagement, enrichment and empowerment are vital.

IPA designs childcare environments that serve the child’s evolving developmental needs by encouraging imaginative play, nurturing social development, rewarding individual accomplishment, and building a sense of community and citizenship.

Our focus on the child is balanced by consideration for the teachers, staff and parents who are essential to the success of childcare and youth programs. The facilities are designed to facilitate staff movement, allow parents to observe and, above all, provide for the safety and security of all. We work closely with Departments of Social Services to assure compliance with all applicable regulations.
